These pieces are about the abundance of life, about becoming, reaching, striving, and the sheer joy and power of physical existence. As they entice the viewer in with unfurling leaves and radiating light, they encourage a sense of empathy towards the natural world, and hopefully, a sense of connection and compassion amongst us all. These pieces were created over the past several years, and employ translucent porcelain, layers of colored glazes, custom fabricated steel brackets, and LED lights.
